A landing page for Nike that shows off the customizable colors of their new woman's running shoe.
This was a personal project of mine. Having had cancer when I was 20 years old, my eyes were open to the effects it can have on someone and their family. I wanted these posters to be eye catching enough for people to take notice, and react to them.
This project spun out of an assignment in college that had us create a brand identity based on a logo that was given to us. After tweaking it and making it my own, I decided to use black and white photography that would allow the bike frames to stick out. The overall tonality and voice of the brand is high-end quality but still fun and edgy. It’s bikes, after all. You’ve got to have some fun.
This is another project that started as a college assignment, but I continued to work with GGC to bring more of their outdated illustrations up to par. GGC helps kids discover their talents and then encourages them to make the world a better place, and become a hero. I redesigned characters and created new ones, refreshed workbook layouts, and even helped design print materials that are still being used today!
This project was all about taking a messy UX system, from the main site, and streamlining it, to convey clear information on a landing page. The website was responsive, and it was fun working through the design choices, directly with the development team.
This project allowed me to create an entire brand for a company, from print advertisements to their website. Simplistic efficiency is what I was going for and is reflected in their clean style and brand voicing. In an industry that is riddled with sales messaging, VivaLux stands out by being quite and using the clarity of whitespace to their advantage.
I’m not too proud to admit it: I’m a nerd. Now we can move on, right? Zelda is one of the most influential game series of all time, and it has played a huge role in my childhood years. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, in particular, had a great story and a really dark tone that set it apart from other Zelda games, and other games in general. These illustrations reflect the great art and story direction that this game had. Enjoy!
(For those who don’t speak Hylian: Deku Mask, Goron Mask, Zora Mask, Fierce Deity Mask, ‘Thanks. Check out more work below.’)
